THE QUEER AGENDA

Helping brands, entertainment companies, and cultural organizations reach the audiences that matter, build meaningful partnerships, and drive business results and social impact through queer storytelling and culture.

Queer storytelling changes lives.
It’s also good business.

The queer storytelling ecosystem includes creators, studios, streamers, funders, brands, and, most importantly, audiences. Its health and success depend on the relationships, resources, and institutions that connect and sustain them.

The Queer Agenda works across that ecosystem, bringing people and ideas together to create new opportunities, strengthen connections, and build lasting value across queer storytelling, culture, community, and business.

FOUNDED BY
DAVID HATKOFF

The Queer Agenda was founded by David Hatkoff, a cultural strategist and executive who has spent more than two decades building organizations, programs, partnerships, and audiences across entertainment and the arts.

For seven years, David served as Executive Director of NewFest, where he helped grow the organization into the largest LGBTQ+ film festival in the United States, expanded its year-round programming, built partnerships with leading studios, streamers, brands, and philanthropists, and helped direct more than $1 million to queer filmmakers. Before NewFest, he spent 11 years in senior leadership at Signature Theatre. He was named to the Out100 in 2025, and received the Gay City News Impact Award in 2024.
